Tony’s Fresh Market upgrades website, loyalty program
The new tech follows Heritage Grocers’s Cardenas Markets and El Rancho Supermercado banners
Heritage Grocers Group, which runs a chain of Hispanic specialty grocery stores under several banners, announced Tuesday that it has redesigned the website for its Tony’s Fresh Market banner and updated its “Tony’s Rewards” loyalty program.
Ontario, Calif.-based Heritage operates 21 Tony’s Fresh Market stores in Chicago in addition to 58 Cardenas Market stores, 29 El Rancho Supermercado stores, and seven Los Altos Ranch Market stores.
“Based on resounding customer feedback and requests for an enhanced digital experience, our team worked hard to deliver a new, cohesive, personalized, and reliable online shopping and savings platform that we’re thrilled to introduce today,” Heritage Grocers Group Chief Marketing Officer Adam Salgado said in a press release. “Creating an engaging, user-friendly, and responsive experience that meets our customers’ evolving shopping preferences was our primary goal during the redesign process.”
The website redesign features improved navigation, a new interface, recipes, online shopping, weekly ads, and career opportunities, the grocer said.
It also allows shoppers a simplified method for joining the grocer’s exclusive email list and receive weekly circulars, coupons, exclusive offers, sweepstakes opportunities, community event information, and more.
The Tony’s loyalty program upgrade replaces the grocer’s existing rewards program with a modern platform already adopted by Heritage’s Cardenas Markets and El Rancho Supermercado banners, the company said.
The new loyalty program enables shoppers to clip digital coupons, earn and redeem points (1 point for every dollar spent), and receive weekly offers, digital deals of the week, and seasonal offers and promotional discounts.
